Two of the four minority members on the committee, Representatives Joe Neguse (D-CO) and Teresa Leger Fernandez (D-NM) did not record votes. The next day, the House adopted H.Res. 122, a resolution providing for the consideration of H.R. 77 by a 216-205 margin. The bill’s primary sponsor, Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ), introduced the Midnight Rules Relief Act on January 3. This premise was EVERYTHING! It was about a group of people who meet on “Deddit” and are trying to learn about creepy games not to play. One of those is The Midnight Game. What are the rules? Do not turn on the lights. Do not go to sleep. Do not leave the building. Otherwise, the Midnight Man will get you. Once you start you have to finish, and these strangers are in for wild ride.Thoughts: I loved the play on the creepy pasta/reddit culture. This was such a fun premise and I got behind it immediately. The “games you shouldn’t play” subdeddit was a great way to break up the chapters and I was here for it. The characters were a bit flat for me, but this book was easy to consume quickly and a lot of fun. 4-stars.young-adult71 reviews28 followersNovember 15, 2024this was GORRRYYYY. for a YA book i was honestly surprised at the brutality of the deaths and the sensitive topics that were mentioned. i didn’t like how a certain character was glorified as being “not too bad” after it was revealed he assaulted a girl the year prior. that aside though, everything else was handled well in my opinion. definitely one to pick up if you like YA horror/thriller that has a bit more of a kick to it. Rules quickly issued “without subjecting them to rigorous review or analysis.”Special congressional procedures under the CRA present a new president and Congress a window of opportunity to try to overturn midnight rules. Relevant now are the “look-back rule” and limited-time fast-track procedures which President Trump and fellow Republicans may use to treat Biden-era final regs as if they never took effect or prevent them from ever taking effect.Checkpoint recently compiled a reference list of final IRS tax regs issued since August 2024 based on the CRS’ estimate of the 60-legislative-day lookback period. Notable regs that could be reviewed and the subject of joint resolutions of disapproval include final rules on Inflation Reduction Act clean energy credits and digital asset broker reporting.Debate.Under current law, separate resolutions need to be introduced for each rule. In total, Republicans say there are about 1,400 midnight rules across all agencies the party may seek to overturn.Rules Committee Chair Virginia Foxx (R-NC) in her opening remarks before the committee voted on H.R. 77 said the bill would deter outgoing administrations from inundating Congress “with regulatory blitzes” that are “often to the detriment of the very people we are here to serve: our constituents.”Expediting reviews “by allowing Congress to consider multiple rules in one fell swoop” would be “a reasonable, commonsense remedy to this problem that has existed for decades,” said Foxx.Representative Michelle Fischbach (R-MN), who sponsored both the committee-level motion to consider the bill and the subsequent House resolution approved Tuesday, said during one-hour debate that the Midnight Rules Relief Act “addresses an inefficiency in the government and allows Congress to retain its current authority” to review final rules “without bogging down” the legislative pipeline “when we have so much work to get done.”Representing the Democrats during the debate hour was Ranking Rules Committee Member James

Chocolate Man is a Killer in Midnight Horrors. It was originally just an April Fools exclusive Killer but was Re-added and Revamped in Version 1.52.0 to be a normal Killer.Behavior[]Chocolate Man will chase after the nearest player at a speed barely faster than the Speed Coil. Upon getting within range, Chocolate Man will scream "CHOCOLATE!" and jump onto the player, exploding and dealing decent damage to everyone around him. It takes about 2-3 explosions to kill a player. (4-6 with Double Health.)Notes[]Chocolate Man can be outran with the Ultra Coil.Chocolate Man will ignore players that have already died, but can still hurt and kill them with his explosion.Chocolate Man will pursue after Ally NPCs.Trivia[]Chocolate Man's screaming comes from Spongebob Squarepants.Chocolate Man was first added temporarly in Version 1.6 (April Fools' 2020). It was temporarily re-added in version 1.20.0 (April Fools' 2021) then again in Version 1.38.0 (April Fools' 2022).Chocolate Man currently appears in another Roblox game titled Oculus' Game, a game also made by CaptainSpinxs, and is capable of spawning anywhere between Waves 4-6, specifically the 'Medium' difficulty. In Version 1.55.0 (April Fools' 2024), Chocolate Man was renamed to "Did you say... chocolate?".This name Inclunding his curent quote is a reference to This episode of Spongebob SquarepantsDuring Ghost rounds, Chocolate Man's display will be changed to "GHOST CHOCOLATE? WHAT.".During Clones rounds, Chocolate Man's display will be changed to "CHOCOLATE FACTORY".Chocolate Man was a Killer in Midnight Horrors. "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! ( A Man After Midnight)" - ABBADer beliebteste ABBA-Song auf TikTok ist der Dance-Pop-Hit "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" aus dem Jahre 1979. 840 reviews344 followersFebruary 8, 2023You know those books that you are confident you will enjoy but then...all of a sudden you are super addicted and the book unexpectedly becomes one of your favorites? This is one of them.Truly, I had so much fun with this book, the story and the wonderfully integrated mixed media bits.A group of strangers that met at Deddit (a message board website for horror fans) decide to play a game. They discuss the legend of The Midnight Man and the game that was created around it. So of course they think it would be a great idea to play The Midnight Game and decide to meet for the first time at night to play. What could go wrong. It is probably just an old tale, right? To play the game there are certain rules that you need to follow if you want to stay alive. As the characters start to play the game, they soon realize that their lives might be in real danger.Filled with horror, tension and unexpected twists, this book will have you hooked from page one and it will be for sure impossible to put down. Will you be able to resist playing the game?157 reviews248 followersSeptember 1, 2023You’re in for a WILD ride. An intelligent, twisted and captivating YA thriller. Out 5th January 2023. The creepy voices? Signing your soul over to the game? While some of the twists were a little obvious, it was the kind of obvious that makes you feel smart for figuring something out! It’s not anything that I haven’t read before, but I was shocked at how brutal it was. The characters weren’t particularly likeable...but thriller characters never are.But I have to say, my favourite was Ellie. She’s so kind, and she really felt like someone you could be friends with, someone who
