Review would be much different. Various scenes involving Constance, Hubert, and Arthur especially hit home emotionally, and the scene in which John orders Arthur’s murder sent actual chills down my spine. Many thanks to Goddard as well for showing how this play is far better written than the critics would have us believe. I think the ways in which Shakespeare reveals who the true king of the play is (hint: it’s not John, and it’s not his son Henry) are especially brilliant. Formulating Tips For Blondes, Corrective Color & Pre-ToningWhether you’re pre-toning for vivid haircolor, correcting unwanted pigments OR just need to give your blondes a quick refresh—how do you formulate toners? Before you reach for that mixing bowl, read through this guide on how to determine the best formulas. Plus, learn the major differences between alkaline, sheer and 5-minute toners from Matrix Global Artist Constance Robbins (@constancerobbins)! Keep scrollin’. Products Used 1. Pre-Toning For Vivids? Try This!To pre-tone or not to pre-tone? If your client wants silver or lavender hair but has unwanted tones from previous color, you might need to remove some underlying pigments. Pre-tone directly after the prelightening process to achieve a clean canvas.Try This: Constance uses Matrix’s Anti-Yellow Color Sync 5-Minute Fast Toner that uses purple tones to cancel yellow on Levels 9 and lighter. It makes pre-toning an easy step (it processes from 1 to 5 minutes) for achieving cooler pastel end results. 2. Mix & Match For Corrective ColorWe LOVE a good color correction (the ones that change your client’s life!) but let’s be real—formulating for corrective color can be tricky. That’s why Constance also uses the 5 Minute Fast Toners for working through pesky underlying pigments. Here’s how: Are they pulling orange? Try this: For brunette clients who have old red in their hair, pre-tone with Anti-Brass which uses blue tones to cancel brassiness on Levels 6 to 8. Then, do a final toner with Matrix Color Sync Original later for rich, mocha brunette results. Are they pulling red? Try this: For super dark-haired clients (we’re talking LAYERS of 1A on their hair!), pre-tone with Anti-Red which uses green tones to cancel warmth on Levels 1 to 5. Then, try toning with something like Color Sync 6A to get them to a nice transition color.Constance pre-colored the swatches below with the potential underlying pigments (red, orange and yellow), to show how pre-toning can neutralize warmth and cancel unwanted tones in literally 1 to 5 minutes. OMG, right?! Don’t sleep on this step 😂 3. Cool Blondes—This One’s For You!One thing’s for sure: Your super blonde clients DON’T want to see yellow. But when they are already a Level 8 or lighter and don’t need the lift—what’s the best way to enhance their tonality? Constance uses a deposit-only formula, like Matrix’s Sheer Acidic Toners, because acid falls lower on the pH scale. That will keep the cuticles tight and create a sheer gloss that lays over existing pigments without lifting damage. What’s cooler than being cool?! Constance applying this Sheer Violet & Sheer nude for a color refresh!4. Alkaline v. Acidic? Here’s The Difference!Yes, acidic toners have low pH formulas and are deposit-only BUT when is an

A Stab in the Dark is a case featured in Criminal Case as the one-hundred forty-seventh case of the game. It is the thirty-second case of the game's World Edition (Season 3) and also the second case to take place in Oceania.PlotThe Bureau arrived in Singapore to meet lawyer Michelle Zuria for information about SOMBRA’s "next level". Before Carmen and the player could speak with her, Michelle received a call from her client, Anbu Devanesan, saying that he had found his girlfriend, Constance Tan, stabbed in the stomach in the Giant Wheel observation cabin.During the investigation, Anbu tried to jump off a building due to grief. Furthermore, the team found the killer's device which (per Elliot) was encrypted by SOMBRA, proving that Constance was killed by a SOMBRA agent. The killer eventually turned out to be Anbu himself. Anbu abducted Elliot after being exposed as a SOMBRA agent and Constance's killer. After Anbu denied involvement, Elliot came in with the finally-decrypted device. He said Anbu was laundering SOMBRA's money in Singapore. Anbu revealed afterward that he stabbed Constance with a parang because she discovered his job in SOMBRA. He then abducted Elliot and escaped.Jack said he had tailed Anbu and Elliot to the bay gardens before the former shot him in the arm. Investigating there, Carmen and the player found Anbu's bloody tie, with Lars saying that the tie was used to gag Elliot. The two then asked Jonah for help, who then advised them to return to the gardens. There, the two found Elliot's broken phone with an unsent message directing them to the docks. An artwork depicting SOMBRA's experimentation on their recruits. Meanwhile, Marina and the player interrogated Michelle. During the interrogation, the team deduced that Anbu was funding the "next level" program. Michelle pointed the team to the Giant Wheel. There, they found out Anbu had hidden a document proving SOMBRA had "successfully" experimented with Thanid Tongproh. After talking to Sanjay Korrapati, he told them that there were rumors regarding the recruits being experimented on.Jonah, Carmen, and the player rushed to the docks before Anbu could escape by ship. They found Anbu, who threatened to kill Elliot. Jonah acted quickly by shooting Anbu in the hand, saving Elliot. Judge Adaku sentenced Anbu to life in jail for the murder of Constance Tan, money laundering for SOMBRA, the abduction of a police officer, and failure to cooperate with

Both Edmund in King Lear and to Falstaff… “he is an important character in the development of Shakespeare’s art. Hitherto Shakespeare had treated history very seriously … In King John he successfully thrusts a comic character into the highest scenes of the play.”In conclusion, the Intro says, “… it is not a great play; for indeed the reign of John Plantagenet, though exceedingly troublesome, was not well suited for a play of any kind.”I’m currently reading my second history, Richard II. In that Intro, it’s stated that “Shakespeare here presents history “the personal conflict of two individuals”. When I read that, I immediately thought back to King John, the next history Shakespeare wrote after Richard II. We can see the a similar theme in King John, where the two individuals are in fact two mothers. Queen Elinor (that is Eleanor of Aquitaine), King John’s mother; and Constance (that is, Constance of Brittany), the mother of Arthur, King John’s nephew, both of whom promote their sons as the rightful king.Because of course Philip, the King of France (another leading character in the play), who had allied with John against Richard way back when Richard was in the Holy Land, became John’s antagonist once John himself became lord over England’s French dominions. And the instrument Philip used in this conflict was John’s nephew Arthur, and the promotion of Arthur, by his mother, as the rightful king of England, Arthur being the issue of John’s older brother Geoffrey. (Got all that?) Why did

To be super dull, but i can name, like, at least three shakespeare plays more boring than this one. the constance & arthur scenes in acts three/four in particular were excellent and i want to perform them (i'm so good at being a dead little boy. i could do it), and it's still shakespeare; the language is still gorgeous! plus, of course, philip faulconbridge is my absolute beloved and one of those stars is fully for him. obsessed with this man. the energy3-stars billy-shakes period-1500s282 reviews167 followersReadDecember 28, 2017Shakespeare does what Shakespeare does: He demonstrates great insight into human psychology, including capriciousness, hypocrisy, and inconstancy, while giving eloquent voice to rage and despair. The princes are not the principals. The auxiliary characters are the principals, especially Bastard and Constance, while Hubert also adds significantly to the depth of the play's themes.Narratively, it starts somewhat absurdly, and ends rather anti-climactically--and I don't care whether the death of John is staged as a spectacle and treated as a dramatic climax, it's really just a terminus to the play and not particularly tragic in itself. But this is not to slight the play. The play's worth is not in the skeletal framework of its narrative, the interest is not wholly in the question of who will win and who will lose, and it is quite suitable to present history as a series of events that hinge on chance circumstances. Thematically, one of the principal points is to display how shifting and unpredictable alliances,
