Results An exploratory factor analysis using principal axis factoring with a direct oblimin oblique rotation was conducted in order to extract items for the factor structure. Skewness and kurtosis were assessed. The number of factors that were extracted was determined by eigenvalues (Kaiser, 1958), Cattell’s scree test (Cattell, 1966), parallel analysis (Horn, 1965), and minimum average partial (Velicer, 1976). The number of factors to be retained was informed by these analyses and reasoning assessed through past scientific knowledge. Cattell’s scree test suggested that there were 11 factors, the parallel analysis suggested that there were 10 factors, and the revised minimum average partial suggested that there were 9 factors. Therefore, it was concluded that the hypothesis was not supported and, in fact, a 10 factor stucture was supported in the ASICS. • • • The ASICS is an important measure for assessing college students’ success in a more global manner than relying on GPA and course grades alone. Conducting more research on and including this measure would likely increase the visibility of the measure to practitioners in a college or university setting. While there appears to be some weak evidence for 9 factors, the current study found that there are likely 10 factors represented on the ASICS. More research is needed to confirm 10 factors, specifically in a more diverse college sample. Additionally, future research should consider the effects of incentivizing participants through course credit. This could lead students to falsely believe that they should answer in an overly positive manner. References Cattell, B. R. (1966). The scree test for number of factors. You predict that there’s a positive correlation: higher SAT scores are associated with higher college GPAs while lower SAT scores are associated with lower college GPAs.After data collection, you can visualize your data with a scatterplot by plotting one variable on the x-axis and the other on the y-axis. It doesn’t matter which variable you place on either axis.Visually inspect your plot for a pattern and decide whether there is a linear or non-linear pattern between variables. A linear pattern means you can fit a straight line of best fit between the data points, while a non-linear or curvilinear pattern can take all sorts of different shapes, such as a U-shape or a line with a curve.Visual inspection exampleYou gather a sample of 5,000 college graduates and survey them on their high school SAT scores and college GPAs. You visualize the data in a scatterplot to check for a linear pattern:There are many different correlation coefficients that you can calculate. After removing any outliers, select a correlation coefficient that’s appropriate based on the general shape of the scatter plot pattern. Then you can perform a correlation analysis to find the

Heritage. We maintain an inventory of CEH25 long-lead parts in stock. EH25 Bi-Axis Gimbal, 3-Phase Sierra Space has developed an Enhanced Hybrid (EH25) Bi-Axis Gimbal that has improved stiffness and torque capability closely modeled after our standard H25 gimbal. The EH25 gimbal features very fine pointing resolution, position telemetry precise to within a single step, infinitely adjustable hard stops, internal heaters and temperature sensors, and extremely long-life capability. EH25 Incremental Rotary Actuator, 3-Phase Sierra Space brings a long history of manufacturing space-qualified motors and actuators, both in one-off and multiple unit production runs. The Enhanced Hybrid (EH25) Incremental Rotary Actuator (RA), in continuous production for several years, uses flight-proven design, assembly, and test heritage. We maintain an inventory of EH25 long-lead parts in stock. H25 Bi-Axis Gimbal, 4-Phase Sierra Space’s H25 Gimbal features very fine pointing resolution, position telemetry precise to within a single step, adjustable hard stops, and extremely long-life capability. Lightweight 2-Axis Mini Gimbal Sierra Space’s Lightweight 2-Axis Mini Gimbal is a simple X/Y gimbal designed for spacecraft requiring a small, fast-moving antenna or other payload. The interface brackets and cable wrap spools are removable, providing excellent adaptability to many applications requiring a small gimbal with moderate pointing accuracy for 1- or 2-axis motion. Size 23 Incremental Rotary Actuator Sierra Space has designed, developed, and delivered an incremental actuator configured around a Size 23 hybrid stepper motor and a 10:1 planetary gearhead, providing output step resolution of 0.18 degrees per motor step. The Size 23 Rotary Actuator was originally developed and qualified for a solar array drive application but is useful for any open-loop stepper motor driven system that needs fine incremental motion but can tolerate a small amount of backlash. Size 30 Incremental Rotary Actuator The Size 30 Incremental Rotary Actuator was developed specifically for use in
